Drawing inspiration from nature, the world, and her students, VRAY's designer Valerie Ray (a teacher by day) began creating her classically styled jewelry in 1999. 

Valerie describes her start:

"After years of wearing just my wedding ring, a watch and a special locket, my husband sparked my interest in gem stones with special occasion gifts.  I began to study the stones, their origins, and even experimented with several simple pieces."

Valerie focused her attention on name jewelry.  She marries the texture, color and sparkle of sterling and semi-precious stones with the personalization of names.  The result is a customized connection to the special people in her customers' lives.
